Our aim when undertaking this project was to use sound to illustrate the links between nature and the vines. In order to achieve this, we conducted research to create an innovative “vocabulary”, which could portray the slow yet powerful hidden side to plant life. The exceptional acoustics of the underground quarries at Franc Mayne enabled us to install panoramic sound immersion systems, which contributed to the general artistic quality of the tour.
