Parc d'Enghien

The project was entitled “Si Enghien m’était conté” (“Tales of Enghien”), and comprised 3 annual performances. Here was the challenge: to adapt several different shows, so that they could all be performed in the setting of a 120-hectare park (the Parc d’Enghien, a site classified as “Patrimoine Majeur de Wallonie”.
A wide variety of design skills were involved, including music, lighting, the scenography of mechanical objects or giant animated characters, and live performances on the ponds or in the fountains. The concept focussed on creating unique events, which the public would discover at the end of an alley of beech trees, or opposite an immense canal for example. The performances were sequenced, taking place one after another with precision and natural fluidity, allowing visitors to move through a series of changing landscapes, offering majestic perspectives and intimate gardens.
